Yes I am pissed that totally ruined my day. Rex was damned right Woodson could not do what Revis was asked to do and Revis could absolutely do what Woodson was asked to do had he been! These A.P. guys dont even watch these games probably. I am in no way saying Woodson didnt deserve it. He had a great "Statistical" season. But Revis had a "dominating" season! He takes away so many options for a team and allows the jets to do so many different things i.e. double wr2 or blitz more guys! Revis was the better choice but come on expecting the media to make right choices is like expecting monkeys to have feathers, fly and lay eggs lol

Since the Super Bowl began there have only been 5 teams that finished the regular season with the #1 total defense and the #1 running offense:
3 out of the 5 were Super Bowl champions and 1 remains to be seen, this year's NY Jets.
2009-2010 New York Jets = ???
1985-1986 Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champions
1984-1985 Chicago Bears = Lost in NFC championship game to 49ers (lost Jim McMahon for season though)
1976-1977 Steelers Super Bowl Champions
1972-1973 Dolphins Super Bowl Champions

I was in the middle of the Dog Pound with my father, 2 of my brothers, my Uncle and my cousin in 1986. By the 3rd quarter my Uncle, Father and I had been in 3 fights and were doused with beer 4 or 5 times from some unemployed pieces of shit in the upper deck. With 4:05 left and the Sack Exchange in full command with a 10 pt lead and a 3rd and 16 which went incomplete..my old man says, when we win, "jump on the field and get with the team cause these assholes behind us are ripe for a beating but I think we're outnumbered"...well, then OUR ASSHOLE Gastineau went and clubbed Kosar after the play and you all know the rest, a 2OT loss and that Bankrupt piece of shit Kosar still holds the AFC record for most passing yards in a playoff game at 493.
Fuck Cleveland, Kosar, Mangini, the Browns, Lebron, Municipal stadium (4 degress that game), and FUCK GASTINEAU!
J-E-T-S, going all the way this year!!

I should have posted this sooner (or maybe just looked for a previous post relaying same message) but I just wanted to thank guys like Matt, Joe, Scott, Xavion, etc. for creating the best bar atmosphere I have ever watched a game in. Lets keep it up and go Jets!

Thanks Jessica. There could not have been a better year to start loving The NY Jets (since I was born a few years after 1969)! I came on with Coach Ryan (aka Capt. Pizza as I like to call him) and Sanchez and hell, now they are in the freaking playoffs and dare I say, on their way to the SB? I mean, it doesn't get any better than that!!! Plus, it's been so great to be a part of the Charlotte Jets fans....what a riot!
See you all on Sunday!!!!

Ryan,
Please order Matt a Vernon Gholston jersey. Apparently, he is also afraid of contact.
I'd like to play.

I’ve got a Joe Namath story to share. My father was a drinking buddy with Joe Willie. As a kid (little kid)I was going to the Bachelor III. The family story was Joe had me go out for a pass and he knocked me over. My brother and myself were always in our Jets uniforms and/or helmets. My Mother was not a big fan of Joe’s (due to his drinking and skirt chasing). My father was at Super bowl III and brought back a signed football with all of the player signatures. Well as a kid I wanted to play with that ball and did with some of my friends on the street. I still remember the beating I got for that. I still have that ball and you can almost see the writing.
